Dreams and Forgotten Passwords

GO BLUE!

Well, it's been so long since I posted that I forgot the login and password and had to try several different combinations to get the right one. Sorry to take so long to get something new up. Life has just gotten in the way, I guess. I did have a dream last night about the family all being together at some kind of reunion or other. It was weird in that there were lots of little kids running around that I didn't know - presumably another generation - but I was younger than I am now and our parents were all there about the age we are now. It was at Grammy's house and, of course, I was going around talking to everyone about the blog. Karen complained that there was too much to look through (that Karen, she's such a whiner :-) I was getting ready to take Uncle Archie to a computer (back in what was Gram's bedroom) to show it to him when I woke up. Darn! I'd like to have seen how that went.

I hope to scan some more pictures this week, so I'm posting a few of what I have left from last time. There are still others, but I'll save those until a theme presents itself.

These two include some uncles we haven't seen in other photos.

Sorry Peter, for putting up such a goofy looking picture of you - this should counter the swim team photos your kids saw of you in the yearbooks last fall. And there's Uncle Ed with a drink and a smoke. It's funny how we grew up in a cloud of cigarette smoke - it was everywhere - but now I have a volunteer coming in who is a smoker and I don't want to hang my coat next to hers because I can't stand the smell. Nice one of Heidi and her Daddy. My mother made that afghan and I think I still have it somewhere.
Here's one on the porch. Not sure if Aunt Charlene and Uncle Kenny are married yet in this - but I suspect not. Dale sure was cute.

This one kind of goes along with my comments to the last post. I think the baby is me, but it's a little blurry, so I'm not positive. I'll have to look for others from the same day to be sure.

If you are a Maine Hockey fan, you already know that the Black Bears are going to the Frozen Four in St. Louis in a couple of weeks. They will play Michigan State on April 5th. Wish I could get away for a little vacation about then - it would be a good time to visit cousins I have in the area. It is interesting to watch Maine sporting events with Paul these days. He's a Maine fan until it looks like they might win big - then he starts rooting for the other team. Big wins mean more work and potential problems on campus, something he would rather avoid if possible. It gets very frustrating for me, but I can understand - I guess - if I have to.

Hope all is well out there in Sirois land. Job interview this Thursday, wish me luck.

Glad to hear from you. It's been a very busy time for all of us! I'm not positive but I think that baby in my mom's lap could be me. Some where around here I have a similar photo of me on her lap sitting on Grammy's front step.
Good luck on your interview!

You're probably right. That was my first thought, but then I thought she looked older than in the other pics. Just the different hairstyle I guess. I didn't get the job and my hockey team lost
:-( but more about all of that in the post I'll do this weekend. It's 3 am and here I am wide awake. At least it's not a school night. Ok, a few more games of solitaire, then it's back to bed for me.
